AUTHOR’S NOTES: Before Heroes aired, I had been toying with the idea of this story in which Janet gets caught in a battle situation with SG-1 during S7, told from her perspective. Heroes kind of ruined it for me, but after a couple of years away from the show, I found I still wanted to tell this story. IMO, it works best if your personal canon does not include Heroes and the loss of Janet Frasier.

I've embarked on an episode by episode rewrite of Stargate SG-1, starting with Season 4's "Small Victories".  The main goals of the rewrite include but are not limited to the following:

1. Sink the ship
2. Bring back the Seasons 1-3 "team feel"
   
3. No Dumb!Jack
4. Janet lives
5. Nyan replaces Daniel instead of Jonas

If that sounds at all interesting to you, it should be easy reading.  The posts will be listed on the "All Stories" page in their own section, by episode title.  "Small Victories" will be posting shortly.

If anyone's interested in writing sequels to the Moebius tag, you should feel free. I mean, technically you don't need my permission, but I thought I'd say it anyway. I hope to write sequels to it myself one of these days, but it could actually be fun to see where different people would take it.

Someone nominated me for a Stargatefan Award.  I've never been nominated for one before, and I just wanted to say thank you to whomever did that.  I also want to say I haven't been replying individually to much of the incredible feedback I've gotten on the Moebius tag, because I'm just stunned.  I wrote the story strictly to get myself past the events of that episode, and while I thought others might enjoy it, I really expected more mixed feedback and maybe less interest all the way around.  Thanks to all of you who posted such wonderful, encouraging comments. 

I'm going to devote the bulk of my writing time for the next little while to an original novel I've been thinking about for years.  But when I need breaks from it - and that will happen - I have several partially finished Stargate stories I'll be working on.  So it may be a while, but I will be posting more SG fics.  :)

The final chapters of the Moebius tag are finally up, posted, no longer a work in progress, done!

When I moved this to LJ, I had to cut the posts into more sections.  So if you've read everything that was posted before, you should start with Part 5. 

You Can’t Always Get What You Want
Part 1 of the Moebius tag. Dedicated to everyone who watched Moebius Part 2 and thought, “WTF did they just do to my Daniel??? Strand him in hell with Teal’c and the Kama Sutra Twits?” Unable to travel to Vancouver to put fireants in the writers’ underwear, I opted to write the story of what happened after the show ends, and let the characters guide the plot. I thought it was going to be hideously depressing, but in the end it wasn’t, and now I feel much better. WARNING: I had to deal with the ship/slash stuff the episode raised, so even though it’s still gen (to my thinking), if you’re extra-sensitive to even hearing about any of it, you may want to skip it.
